Cloud Chart Time Frames

Hubert Senters here. Let’s take a look at some time frame selection on Ichimoku which is a free analysis technique that I used to figure out which direction I think the markets are going to go so if I’m looking at a daily chart on Ichimoku I know my time horizon for that potential trade right her. My time horizon is going to be a minimum of probably a couple of weeks. I’m looking at an hourly chart then I know my time horizon is going to be days. It’s probably going to be good for a minimum of three days. And then if I am looking at a 10 minute chart. I need a little bit different color ink here. Give me just a second. Change the color to let’s say red. If I’m looking at a 10 minute time frame I know it’s going to be good for two to four hours and I usually go three hours so a 10 minute above the cloud should continue to move higher for three hours, below the cloud lower for three hours. An hourly signal is going to move up for three days or down for three days depending on if it’s either above or below the cloud. A daily is going to move up if it’s above the cloud for about 20 days or down if it’s below the cloud. And those are the default ones that I like to use on Ichimoku.
