Let’s take a look at Tesla, TSLA. What we’re going to do is we’re going to do a Fibonacci projection. Obviously, you could have found Tesla many months ago when it crossed the cloud here on the Ichimoku so you could have bought it here.
I’m going to use my pen. I actually got to work my pen on this old PC. It’s a miracle. My new PC is going to be on Wednesday.
You have a long signal here. One to three bars. A long signal here. One to three bars. A long signal here. One to three bars. Take your pick. I don’t really care which one you get it on. And then that was around the area of $250. Cool thing about equities is they’re not like futures.
Futures you have to roll about every three to four months or every month depending on futures contracts.
So let’s pretend you are smart enough, lucky enough to follow the Ichimoku cloud entry signal around $250 then that means it is now trading around $804. It’s not a bad trade. Let’s figure out what’s next. So I want to bring it back here. We’re going to zoom out. We’re going to do a Fibonacci projection or extension.
And how this works is we are looking for a low. I’m going to draw this on the chart with my little gadget here. I’m going to pick where my eye is gravitating to work. I’m going to tick this low. And then I’m going to tick this high. Then I’m going to tick this high or low.
I’m going to remove this ink and come over here and grab my tool. In Trade Station it’s got a Fibonacci price extension lines. It may be different on yours depends on the platform. I’m going to go click one here and then when that work unless it will makes sense. And you see I missed that a little bit. It’s not really a big deal. All you have to do is just move or any fill.
So the Ichimoku buy signal back at $205 and now combine that with Fibs, Fib extension or Fib projection. $950, $1,115, $1,279 and $1,380.
