Hubert Senters here.
Let’s look at the S&P. Its good barometer for overall what’s going on in the market, heads up we are not out of the woods yet. I know it’s a massive bounce today $86 points. And if you like bigger numbers you can just look at the Dow. Oh my goodness, the Dow is up $897 points.
It’s over the brief little sell-off — easy my friend, it’s not over yet so if you look at the S&P, if you go from number one — when it breaches the cloud that’s a bad thing. And then if you look from the beginning of the sell-off so the very top here from here all the way down here it needs to retrace up here to $2705 so.
We’re just going to use that yellow line because it’s pretty much a barometer for it. It needs to go here. We were very close from being out of the woods but not yet. And it needs actually close and go back above. This can go around $2765 so.
Yes. We had a nasty little sell-off for two days and now we’re having a decent bounce. It by no means that it’s going to go higher and it does not mean it’s going to go lower. It is being dropped now. You should be these two days sell-off days for sure today, you know, a little bit different.
Now, you got to set on your hand and see what the follow-up is either for tonight or tomorrow or the next day just set time for a couple of days.
I swear it won’t take that long that will be gone before you know it and then you’re back, OK, now, I got a little bit more information. So if you missed these two days and if you traded today thinking ‘’oh my god, it’s going down.’’
You probably got smoked so I want you to be careful over the next 24 to 48 hours. Just watch. See what happens. If it’s going to go higher you’ll have plenty of time it’s going to go lower.
Mark Helweg and I are going to be doing a special webinar, ‘’The Simple Hedge Fund Strategy,’’ Thursday, February 8th.
Pay attention to this because we usually don’t do them at this time, 4:30 PM Eastern time, Thursday, so right after the market closes.
Good luck. Hope it helps.
And I’ll hyperlink you to the form.
