Let’s take a look at CBOE on a daily chart. I know a lot of people are asking ‘’Hubert, do you still like CBOE?’’ Yes I still like it. I’m not crazy though. I will be waiting for a buy signal.
It’s a massive up trending equity and you can see here it’s just a beautiful looking chart but it’s not immune to a broad market sell-off which we’ve had the last couple of days.
Today it’s down $13 down $10.4, $10.6%. Here’s what I’m looking at, it did take out the cloud which is not a good sign that’s using a sell signal so I’m giving it a couple of days.
Breathe, let us see what’s going to do and then I’m going to really follow on the long on the 60-minute chart. If I can get a 60-minute buy signal then I will purchase CBOE. It’s going to happen as of this chart around $135 but right now, I don’t see that happening.
So I’m more after to let it drop before I buy it. Now, what I short is — not yet just because it’s one day below the cloud and the markets are trying to figure out ‘’are we going to go substantially lower or are we going to bounce out of here?’’ so I’ll leave this thing alone for the next 24 to 48 hours and let the 60-minute chart. Tell me what I need to do.
