Tom Has a Question About Bracket Trades

Hubert Senters here. One heck of a sell off on all the major indexes. Hopefully, you caught a lot of it. And if you didn’t catch the selloff hopefully you caught either bonds going vertical or gold going up. But I got a question here from Tom on your bracket trade on PG and others you always mention a close above or close below. What do you mean by close? So usually what I mean by that is the actual closing of the market. So in this example, if I do a bracket trade of $121.81 in order to initiate a trade. If your rule is a close above that it would have to — the market would have to close and then the next day you and internet $121.81. Now in that day when we’re zooming in here you could cheat obviously because that day if it’s a green bar it opened here and it closed there so you could go ahead and have an order on that particular candle even before it closed unless something happens it’s not going to trigger you off until the next day, right. But a lot of people will do a trade above or below those numbers so a trade above $121.81 will be good enough. Some people want to close. So you really got to have your rules dialed in before you start doing that stuff. But if you’re going to do a close blow you can always just wait until the next day. It’s not a big deal. That’s how most people do it. So just make sure you get your rules lined up there. Make sure you know what you’re doing. Is it going to be a close above or below those lines or a trade above or below those lines? Let me read the rest your question here. I think I covered everything for you.
