As we’re going through this uncertain times the market is trying to figure out if it does want to go higher? Is it going to go sideways for 10 years or is it going to breakdown and rollover and do a correction.

And nobody can really predict a future. You can do some guestimating and estimating and good old-fashioned experience and indicators and stuff like that. We’re speculating here.

Here’s what I recommend that you need to do. You got to have a list of things that are performing terrible like Samuel Adams beer just keeps on making lower after lower with the markets going higher.

This thing is not participating in the rally. That’s bad. And if the market rolls over this thing will perform even worst and then you should also have a list of things on the high side.

Like ISRG that’s performing better than the overall markets so if you have a list of things that are doing great and a list of things that are doing terrible.

When the market either wants to go higher or lower. You’ll be set. Now, there’s nothing you can really do about the sideways stuff other than just try to avoid it.

There’s not a ton of strategies that are good for sideways. But if you have two different shopping lists of things that are getting smoked to the down side currently.

And things that are just taking off and continue to go higher no matter what’s going on you at least have a chance whichever way the market goes.
