Let’s take a look at AMD. I’m doing this pre-market at 8:46 AM. I want to you walk you through how I think about pullback.
So obviously, I’m a fan of AMD technically. It looks good. It’s above the cloud and now, it’s rolling over.
So you get a potential market structure high here and you’re rolling over on the daily chart. I’m going to buy pullback where you can do it one or two ways.
You can just wait until it draw ups to $105.79 and give it a shot there with a tight stop loss and see if it holds.
You can then look at the smaller timeframe like 60-minute timeframe and as you can see here this is a 60-minute timeframe.
And you can see it’s dropped below the turning line and the standard line which implies it’s going to go to about $110, $105 which lines up with that $105 area right there.
You can also when you see this happened. A 10-minute signal drops below the cloud that means it’s going to be good for 3 to 4 hours below the cloud.
And then you tie that into this and you’re probably going to go to $105, $110 area. So that’s kind of the way that I think about and set-up a preparation for.
I think I’m going to pullback here. I’m not sure where the pullback is going to go to and that’s how I try to figure it out with multi-timeframe analysis using the daily, hourly and a 10-minute to go.
First, I’ve got a 10-minute sell signal. 10-minute sell signal right there which means the 60 is going to come in to play at support about $105 to $110.
And then I just back track to make sure that it’s all congruent or lines up with the daily chart. I would like to buy $110 to $105 in that area on AMD.
Now, unless you’ve been hiding underneath the rock you obviously know that the markets are running out of a little of a gas. It’s getting harder to trade and it’s pretty normal when you setups such a nice bull run that we’ve had in the past 11 years.
But at some point in time we’re going to have to pay this bill that we’re using to put this all money on so I am in the opinion that we’re going to roll over in the next 6 months or so.
