A Couple of Short Ideas

Hubert Senters here. Let’s take a look at MCHP. Nice little selloff today. Has got some support. But it is a lot lower. And it’s probably going to continue the bloodbath. Not good news coming out of that one. You got some support down to $65.40. So that’s one short opportunity I deal over there I have for you. And another one if we can get Elon to take his meds or something. I don’t know. TSLA. I’ve got to be careful what I say about him. I don’t want him to hit me up on Twitter or sue me or something like that after his settlement. Then he starts tweeting about the SECB and the short seller’s exchange commission or whatever. But if you’re in Tesla right now, it’s a wild ride for sure. Below the cloud, coming back up to almost to the belly of the cloud and then gap and down based upon that. And then he decides he’s going to settle and he gaps up and now it’s selling off. So if you’re in Tesla my advice would be tighten up your stops. It may continue to be a wild ride if he can’t keep his mouth shut. Look, I know it’s a free country but when you’re a CEO of probably a traded company you’ve got to be a little careful what you say because everything you can say out in the public is going to be construed as a positive or negative and it is going to react in your price.
