Let’s take a look at Apple. If you’re lucky enough to be in a trade that exceeds all of your expectations you’re going to have to update your targets. I’m going to show you how to do that. So we’re going to use Apple in this example. You can clearly see that it’s already went through most of these targets that I’ve set for it.
So now have to re-adjust. This little white line here is just the most recent high on Apple right in this area. And usually what I like to do. I’ll get another tip really quick. A lot of people will say this is the over head resistance. They think that is the 10 point accurate overall resistance. There’s no such thing in trading. There’s areas of concern or areas of interest.
I think a better way to do it is figure how you can go through as many bars as you can that’s got more resistance to it so it would be about right there because it’s touching all three of these most recent highs here. So resistance with mine would be around $144 and you can see it kind of play with that a little bit. So it’s just the way had out and here’s how we’re going to update our targets.
On our targets what we’re going to do is I’m looking for a low, a high and a higher low. And all you can do is you can go back. Right there is where my eyes is going to gravitate towards. Your eye might gravitate towards these areas right here in that area. I’m always going to go to the first one. That’s going to give me a little bit accurate assumption of a higher target so I’m going to remove that.
I’m going to click on Fibonacci Price Extension Line. Whatever platform you have it might be called something different. Don’t worry about it. Just learn how to use it. My hammer is a hammer. Learn how to use your hammer. Right here I’m going to click one time. I’m going to move my mouse up here to the most recent high.
I’m going to click the second time and then I’m going to pullback down here to this little low and click the third time so all I did. I’m going to zoom in here and show you what I’ll do. Low click. Drag click. Drag click. And now that’s going to give me a target to the high side on Apple for the future $146.30, $149.83, $153.37 and $155.55.
