Question from Kenna about Apple

Hubert Senters here. Had a question from Kenna. Hi Hubert, I would like to sell my Apple options tomorrow. Good idea or bad? They expire next week but are full of profit. Thank you, Kenna. Let’s take a look at this. I’m just going to look at it from a pure. So you want to sell your options and they’re full or profits. That’s a good thing. Congratulations. Let’s look at Apple, APPL. When I look at this I’m just looking at what is the upside potential. And if I’m doing this video on a weekend I’m assuming you’re asking me on Friday which we’ve already missed that window. On my information yes, you would hold until next week. I think it might get a little bit volatile. What I would do on these type of things is I would do this. This would be my line on the sand. So next week will be a bracket trade on Apple. Apple at $425 would be a good long entry below $402. I bet you more people come in and try to buy it right before it split too. What I would do is I would either hold it until your expiration or you could just sell them first thing Monday if they’re anywhere near the $425 area. Either one of those would be acceptable in my opinion. I don’t think you can go wrong one way or the other. You’ve already got a good profit. You might make a little bit more. You might give a little bit more Mac but overall good trade Congratulations. Mark Helweg is going to be doing a special webinar Tuesday, August 4th at 8PM EST. ”Finding Explosive Trades with the SVS Strategy…How To Find Trades Like a Sniper!” I will HYPERLINK you to the registration page. I want to go back here one more time for Kenna. Let’s see if we can go a little bit more calculation of where we might think this will go. Let’s go one, two, three. Lines are a little bit ugly because I’ve already got other little bracket trades on there but I just want to see what potential you might get. Some see upside potential Monday through Wednesday you might get like $424 maybe even $435. Depending on what’s that going to do on your option. There you go that is the sweet spot on that trade $424 to $435. Another $10 points potentially. That’s doable. Let me know what you end up doing and Congratulations. Hubert.
