Let’s take a look at the markets. And yeah, I know they were closed today but if you woke up today and you’re like man, why they’re not moving around?
Certain markets were open like several different futures market were open but stocks obviously were clearly closed and also the option market.
If you don’t ever know when that is all you can do is just Google Nasdaq calendar and stock market holiday hours and you’ll find the link and obviously Good Friday April 2nd close.
So you’re not losing your mind. Your data feed is not frozen. Your account is in good standing probably that’s what it is.
But I’m still going to talk about charts. The ones that I’ll be looking out on the stock market will be from Thursday but I’ll talk about them as if you’re going into next week. These are potential trades that you can take advantage of.
So surprise the bond market was actually open and you could have traded it so and yesterday we’re talking about. We’ve got an hourly signal which means that usually good for a bounce for about three to five days.
So far we’ve got one day and then I will call that two days about half a day. So we’ve got one a half days and then it came back and re-visited the cloud.
And you look at the 10 minute signal you can see right here that it actually rolled over on a 10 minute signal. First thing in the morning around 8:30 or 9 and sold off quite a bit and resume that trim.
Now anytime you have a Friday going on you want to make sure that you have enough cushion to hold it over the weekend. And then you also want to make sure like is the market open or close? Because it closed earlier.
If you didn’t know that it was going to close early. You would have potentially stock in the trade because the bond market closed early today too.
So you do need to be aware of that. It’s just like normal market hours. Just check. Usually your broker will send you a reminder. But just be mindful of that type of stuff.
So you can see in this 10 year note trade I’m still in it as it’s grinding lower. I’m still trying to participate in it. I will be doing a live webinar this Saturday at 10AM EST.
