Like the Way this Looks

Hubert Senters here. Let’s take a look at the markets. In particular, we’re going to take a look at the stock symbol STX, Seagate manfacture hard drives. Beautiful looking chart here. Nice little set-up. I like this so it’s got a lot of things going for it. Number one the ADX is above $20 which means trending well. It is above the cloud, the turning line and the standard line. In particular like when a stock or whatever instrument I’m trading does this. It pulls back to the turning line and then goes back below the standard line. So below level one and then level two or below yellow and purple. And then it closes above purple and yellow. I call this a slingshot trade because a lot of times it will slingshot whatever instrument I’m looking at substantially higher. So let’s see if we can figure out the target for this thing. So I’m going to go one, two and it go low, high, higher low right there. One, two. That won’t be perfect because I need to get this low. That’s alright. We’ll make it work for us. One, two, three. Low. High. Higher low. That will work. That’s good enough. And for trading sometimes good enough is good enough. You don’t have to be perfect because heads up a lot of stuff in financial markets are not perfect. You’re making a buying or selling decision or you’re placing a bet on incomplete information.
